Description of service

CartReason AI is a diagnostic and feedback collection tool for Shopify merchants. It helps merchants collect cart exit reasons and optional written comments from shoppers who hesitate before checkout.

No guaranteed results

CartReason AI does not guarantee conversion rate improvement, increased revenue, reduced abandonment rate, recovered sales, or any specific business outcome. The app provides feedback and analytics that merchants may use as hypothesis material when reviewing their store experience.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for:

• How the app is presented on their storefront
• Explaining their data practices to shoppers where required
• Reviewing and using collected feedback appropriately
• Ensuring their use of the app complies with applicable laws and Shopify requirements
• Avoiding prompts that ask shoppers to submit personal, sensitive, confidential, or payment information

Acceptable use

Merchants must not use CartReason AI for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or privacy-invasive purposes. The free-text field must not be used to intentionally collect personal information, confidential information, or payment details.

Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change as the app evolves.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CartReason AI is provided without warranties of specific business results. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the app.

Termination

Merchants may uninstall the app at any time through Shopify. We may suspend or terminate access if the app is misused or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the public CartReason AI website.
